About Me
After qualifying in Beauty Therapy (NVQ L3), I began my aesthetics career in 2015 working in a doctor led medical clinic where I carried out treatments including laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, skin peels, micro-needling, ultrasound body contouring and radio frequency skin tightening.
I also assisted several doctors with procedures such as Mole Removal, Anti-wrinkle Injections, Dermal Fillers, Thread Lifts, Sclerotherapy (leg vein treatment), Blepharoplasty (eyelid plastic surgery) and Liposuction (fat removal surgery).
With this clinical experience, I became even more passionate about aesthetics and explored the opportunities within the industry. After doing my research, I decided to take my career further and become a Registered Nurse specialising in Aesthetics.
I joined the NHS and started my journey in ICU (Intensive Care Unit). Training on the job, I gained a vast amount of knowledge and skills for nursing patients in critical condition, dealing with medical emergencies and working under pressure on surgical and medical placements. I qualified as a Nursing Associate (FdSc) in 2021 and then completed the Nurse Degree Apprenticeship, qualifying as Registered Nurse specialising in Dermatology in September 2023.
I continue to work for the NHS, predominantly in skin cancer surgery, whilst offering services at Tayla Made Aesthetics. I offer many skin treatments from chemical peels to injectables, treating concerns such as acne, aging, rosacea and hyperpigmentation. My education in Aesthetics is of high importance and value to me. I have been trained by UK lead educators Harley Academy and SkinViva as well as undertaking additional courses by industry experts, bringing the best quality treatments and skills to my clinic patients.
I am trained with evolutionary brands Neostrata and Exuviance, offering skin care advice, alpha hydroxy acid skin peels, retail products and tailored facials that reveal truly healthy skin.
